'Culinary Class Wars' Season 2 Set for Release in Late 2025

Netflix’s popular variety show 'Culinary Class Wars: The Cooking Hierarchy' (hereafter 'Culinary Class Wars') is returning with a second season.

On the 15th, Netflix announced, "Season 2 of 'Culinary Class Wars' is in production and is slated for release in the second half of next year. The cooking hierarchy wars will be even fiercer this time."

The original production team is reuniting for the new season. Studio Slam’s Kim Hak-min and Kim Eun-ji will once again direct, with writer Mo Eun-seol also returning.

The production team expressed their gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the viewers, we were able to make it to Season 2. We will work hard to meet your expectations."

'Culinary Class Wars' is a cooking survival show that captivated audiences worldwide with its intense competition between black and white chefs, grand scale, and unpredictable outcomes.

The contrasting judging styles were also a highlight, with renowned culinary mentor Baek Jong-won and Michelin 3-star chef Ahn Seong-jae bringing a fresh dynamic to the show.

The series made history as the first Korean variety show to top Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) chart for three consecutive weeks, leading the K-cooking phenomenon.

It also dominated domestic buzz. According to Good Data Corporation, 'Culinary Class Wars' ranked first in the integrated buzz rankings for three consecutive weeks in the first week of October.
