<Q&A with SEVENTEEN>

Q. How do you feel about releasing the 12th mini album?

S.Coups: Time has flown by, and now we’re releasing our 12th mini album. Our albums always carry SEVENTEEN’s unique genre and sincerity. We worked hard on this album with CARATs in mind.

Hoshi: I’m so grateful that we can release an album every year. It’s meaningful that we can record our growth and experiences along the way.

Woozi: As always, we focused on our story while working on this album. Please give lots of attention and love to our new album, which captures SEVENTEEN at this moment.

Q. What message do you want to convey through this album?

S.Coups: 'SPILL THE FEELS' shares a message of honestly expressing and resolving emotions, so we can move forward with healthy hearts and bright futures. We hope people listen to this album and release their own emotions in a healthy way.

Wonwoo: When we discussed this album, the word 'comfort' stood out. We wanted to create something that would comfort CARATs and give them strength and happiness.

The8: It’s important for us to convey meaning through our music. I hope the songs on this album provide strength to those who need it.

Q. Who would you recommend the 12th mini album to, or when would you recommend people listen to it?

Jeonghan: I think you can listen to it anywhere, anytime. If our songs give you strength, that’s all we could ask for.

Jun: I’d recommend it to anyone in need of endless love. We’ve poured a lot of love into this album for CARATs, and we’ve worked hard to convey that love.

Seungkwan: Rather than recommending it for a specific person or situation, I hope that when people listen to the album, they’ll be reminded of someone or a moment. I hope this album feels like a nostalgic fragrance.

Q. How did you feel when you first heard the title track "LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)"?

Joshua: First of all, I thought the song was really good! It felt like an easy-listening track that’s enjoyable for everyone.

Jun: Since it’s a genre we haven’t tried recently, I was excited to show a new side of us. Please also look forward to us enjoying the stage.

Wonwoo: It felt different from the SEVENTEEN music we’ve shared so far. I’m excited to show our new charm through this song.

Vernon: It feels a bit different from our previous title tracks. I’d say it has a more relaxed vibe. I really wanted to try expressing this kind of mood in a song.

Q. What kind of response do you hope to receive for the new album?

Joshua: I’d be happy just to know that CARATs are enjoying the album. I hope this album becomes part of the happy memories CARATs create.

Dokyeom: I want us to be seen as a group that constantly presents albums with growth, a team that can always try various music styles. We worked hard so CARATs can feel that SEVENTEEN has grown once again.

Dino: I want people to think, "SEVENTEEN still has so much to show," and "I’m looking forward to their future albums." We’ve worked hard to achieve that.

Q. How would you describe this album in one word?

Hoshi: "Us right now." This album reflects what SEVENTEEN is feeling at this moment.

Mingyu: "Grit!" We all worked hard together on this album.

Seungkwan: "New, but still SEVENTEEN." *LOVE, MONEY, FAME (feat. DJ Khaled)* has a different vibe from our previous title track *MAESTRO*. It’s a new challenge for us, and we wanted to show our energy within that.

Q. What’s the key highlight of the new world tour, SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR, which began on October 12-13?

Dokyeom: We’re aiming to show SEVENTEEN’s vibrant, fun, and energetic side to the fullest. We’ll work hard so people can think, "SEVENTEEN is still going strong!"
