'I, THE EXECUTIONER' (Director Ryoo Seung-wan) is receiving invitations from leading film festivals overseas.

'I, THE EXECUTIONER' was recently officially invited to the 19th Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas, and the 57th Sitges Film Festival in Sitges, Spain.

The film has also been invited to the Festival de Cannes Midnight Screening and the Toronto International Film Festival Special Presentation. 'I, THE EXECUTIONER' is making its presence felt on the global stage.

Fantastic Fest is the largest genre film festival in the United States. It showcases the best genre films from around the world. It specializes in fantasy films, including horror, fantasy, science fiction, and action.

Sitges Film Festival is an international genre film festival. I, THE EXECUTIONER will be screening in the Orbita section in competition. It will be screened twice next month on three days (local time).

'I, THE EXECUTIONER' is an action crime drama. It tells the story of veteran detective Seo Do-cheol (Hwang Jung-min) and Park Sun-woo (Jung-hae-in), the youngest detective in the homicide squad, as they hunt down a serial killer.

According to the Korean Film Council's Integrated Movie Ticketing System, “I, THE EXECUTIONER” attracted 99,927 people on the 23rd alone. The cumulative total, including premieres, is 5.71 million.
