Felix becomes UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador for Korea

'Stray Kids' Felix has been appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF Korea.

Felix attended the UNICEF Korea Committee Goodwill Ambassador Appointment Ceremony held at JYP's headquarters on the 21st. “I want to protect the pure happiness of all children,” he said, explaining the reason for his decision.

Felix continued, “I am grateful for the love I have received from my fans. I want to do everything in my power to spread love to children,” he said.

Ms. Mi-Jin Cho, Executive Director of the UNICEF Korea Committee, said, “Felix practices the value of sharing in his life. His heartfelt actions have been an inspiration to many,” said Ms. Cho Mi-jin, Executive Director of UNICEF Korea.

“I look forward to the good impact he will have in the future. I look forward to the good impact you will make in the future.”

UNICEF appoints Goodwill Ambassadors from all walks of life for their diverse social contributions. As the organization celebrates its 30th anniversary, Felix is the newest Goodwill Ambassador.

“Felix has been actively supporting the growth and prosperity of children around the world,” said the UNICEF Korea Committee.

Previously, Felix donated KRW 150 million to improve children's nutrition and water sanitation. Felix has visited Laos and actively supported the growth and prosperity of children around the world.

Meanwhile, UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund) is an organization of the United Nations. It is the only organization whose role in promoting children's rights is specified in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

UNICEF works on health, nutrition, water, sanitation, education, protection, and emergency relief for children around the world.
