“The game is ready.” (Pinkguard)

On the 20th, Netflix released a special teaser trailer for the second season of the original series 'Squid Game'. It signaled the start of the real game and promised a more intense story, plot, and mise-en-scene.

It was mysterious from the opening. Ki-hoon (played by Lee Jung-jae) wakes up to the sound of the series' signature notification. He approaches the door on alert, guns drawn.

A two-shot exchange ensues between Ki-hoon and the frontman (Lee Byunghun). Ki-hoon opens the door, and the frontman stands behind him. The moment the two men come face to face, the mood changes and the thrilling music begins.

It was full of twists. Suddenly, the Pink Guards appeared with upbeat music playing. Each of them played their part. The giant piggy bank was filled with bundles of money, and the game began again.

There was even a dynamic shootout scene. Ki-hoon woke up again in the green sweatpants of number 456. He revealed the new game and story that will start in season 2.

Season 2 of “Squid Game” will depict a fierce confrontation between Ki-hoon, who returns to the game with a vengeance, and the frontman who greets him. It's a real game that starts over.

Season 2 will be released on December 26 on Netflix.
