TWICE's Tzuyu mentioned Park Jin Young, who presented her with her solo debut song.
Tzuyu, a member of the group TWICE, appeared as a guest on KBS cool FM's “Lee Eun Ji's Gayo Plaza,” which aired on the 10th.
On that day, Lee Eun Ji asked Tzuyu, “When you filmed the music video at the university, did anyone watch? It was a hot summer, and I wonder what it was like filming outdoors.” Tzuyu replied, “I'm not good with the cold.
Tzuyu replied, “I'm not good with cold, so it was actually better to be hot. Filming at the university made me want to go back to school again, especially the university life.”
The title track “Run Away” was written by PD Park Jin Young himself. Tzuyu said, “He wrote this song and said that he took great care to show people a new side of me.” Tzuyu said, “When the public thinks of me, they only see the bright and lovable side of me as the youngest. But that's not who Tzuyu is,” she said, adding, ”I think the public only saw the bright and loving side of me as the youngest.
She also mentions the last track, “Fly,” which is a solo composition, saying, “I thought it would be meaningful if I wrote it myself. I wrote it while thinking about my fans. It's something I want to say to myself and something I want to say to my fans,” he explained.
She continued, “I wrote all the lyrics myself in Korean. I had to look up words like 'ah-deul' and 'layers' because they were hard to understand. The lyrics are full of imagination,” he said.
Tzuyu commented on her solo debut, “I felt like I was preparing for an exam. It was difficult because it was my first time preparing an album from start to finish, but my sisters supported and helped me a lot.”
“They came to the jacket shoot and even the music room to support me. They told me to tell them if I needed any help, so I felt very secure and relieved,” she said, expressing her affection for her TWICE members.
Meanwhile, Tzuyu released her solo debut album 'abouTZU' on the 6th and has been actively working.
