◆ “Back to Dreaming, One Step, Two Steps”

On the 26th, Oh My Girl released their 10th mini album “Dreamy Resonance”. The name of the album means dreamy resonance.

The members' opinions were reflected the most. “We presented the direction of our music first,” Yubin said, ”We wanted this album to have a message, and we wanted to make music for our fans.”

“It's a mini 10th album in our 10th year, and it's very meaningful. We've grown up with a lot of love and support, and we wanted to give back to them, so we prepared it with love.”

Again, a dream concept, not a summer song (as the public expected). Was it a ten-year throwback? No, it was a challenge. A challenge to what they started first, and what they regretted the most.

Hyojung explains, “We were worried about whether we should come out with the vibe that the public liked or bring a lyrical song that is our identity. After talking with the members, we decided to go with a concept that Miracle liked and that we were more confident in,” she reveals.

“There are a lot of dream songs that are considered classics. I hope you'll recognize them once more with this song, and I hope it will be an opportunity for OH MY GIRL to take a step forward.” ( Hyojung)

◆ “Miracle, listen to me”

The title track is “Classified”. It is a pop dance song based on classical music. The combination of piano, orchestra, and synths conveys a mysterious feeling.

It is not an easy listening song that has become a trend recently. It was also a tricky song to sing. Seunghee says, “It's not a powerful song. It's difficult because the pitch changes back and forth, but I tried to express it well,” Seunghee said.

Especially the heartfelt lyrics. Kim Eana wrote the lyrics. They reunited after 10 years since their debut song “Cupid'.

Seunghee says, “The lyrics were important because the song has many different syllables. She wrote strong lyrics despite our worries. We are satisfied that they captured the words of comfort and support that we wanted to say.”

Mimi rapped on top of it. “We melted the identity of OH MY GIRL so that Miracle could find the hidden lyrics. We hid the titles of our previous albums. It will be good to listen to while remembering,” she explained.

The performance was elegantly presented. Mimi says, “We tried to keep our lines but not loose. We organized it like a moving storybook. You'll feel like you're watching a pop-up book,” she emphasized.

We prepared a total of 6 songs including the title track. “Start Up” is a song that reflects OH MY GIRL's refreshing energy. “Heavenly” is a medium-tempo ballad.

“When I listened to the highlight medley, I realized that the title track, 'Classified,' and 'Start Up' were divided. I was proud of myself. 'Start Up' has lyrics that go well with comfort, and I was surprised that people felt that warmth just by listening to that short song.”

Unit songs were also featured. “La La La La La” by Mimi and Seunghee, 'Love Me Like You Do' by Hyojung and Yooa, and 'Sway' by Yubin and Arin.

“Love Me Like You Do” by Hyojung and YooA was one of the title candidates. It was recommended by the members and became their unit song. It was a sweet R&B ballad by the duo.

“La La La La” was Seunghee's pick: ”I loved it as soon as I heard it. I immediately chose it because I thought it would be so good with Mimi,” he says, adding, ”You can feel the addictive hook and our different voice colors.”

Arin added, “It was a natural fit for the youngest lineup to team up. We wanted to give you a twist because you're expecting something refreshing and cute, so we chose something sensual and moody. We wanted to show a side of us that we haven't shown before.”

◆ “Year 10, Chapter 2”

As I enter my 10th year, my personal activities are increasing. Acting, entertainment, solo, etc. They are becoming prominent in their respective positions. For OH MY GIRL, their personal schedules are also important for the team.

Hyojung says, “As a leader, I'm proud to see each member's capabilities grow. We are a stronger group when we come together as a group, and I feel like I can be more confident wherever I go. “I don't have to worry because everyone is good at what they do.

That's why this activity is more important to them. “We want to show more of us as a group because we've been active for a long time,” Yubin said, adding, ”We're filming a lot of content, and we're also planning concerts.”
