'Girls' Generation's Choi Sooyoung is embarking on a solo career in Japan.
SARAM Entertainment announced on October 29, “Choi Sooyoung will release her Japanese original debut single ‘Unstoppable’ on October 30.”
The concept photo for the new song has been unveiled. The theme is “The Age of Adulthood. It shows a more mature Choi Sooyoung. It expresses the life of a woman with a strong wick.
“Unstoppable” is Choi Sooyoung's first solo album in 22 years since her debut. She produced the album herself. She also wrote the lyrics for most of the songs.
There are four tracks in total. In addition to the title track of the same name, “C.A.L.M,” “Who is the person reflected in this world,” and “Call me” are included.
Top Korean and Japanese creators contributed to the project. Soda Genda, Kanata Okajima, Yui Mugino, and Nok served as producers of the new album.
“I'm finally able to make the solo debut I've always dreamed of,” said Choi Sooyoung, ”and I've gotten the chance to collaborate with creators from both countries. Please look forward to it.”
Meanwhile, Choi Sooyoung will hold her debut showcase on October 26 at Ebisu Garden Hall in Tokyo.
