'BTS' Suga (Min Yoongi, 31) apologized again for the controversy over drunk driving on an electric scooter.
On the afternoon of the 25th, Suga uploaded a handwritten apology on 'Weverse'. He bowed his head and said, "I deeply apologize for disappointing and hurting my fans and everyone who loves me with my wrongdoings."
He also mentioned his first statement after the controversy. He explained again, "On the night of August 6th, I made the mistake of riding an electric scooter on the sidewalk after drinking."
He continued, "I apologize for causing much confusion due to my hasty first apology. I should have thought more deeply and been more careful, but I did not."
Suga said, "It's all my fault. My recklessness is making it difficult for everyone who cares about me. I will try not to do the wrong thing again and live my life repenting."
He expressed his regret to the members. "I have tarnished the name of BTS. I am so sorry and in pain that it is difficult to express my feelings for the members and the team."
Suga also apologized to his fans once again. He said, "I know that no words can heal the wounds and disappointments that my fans have received, so I deeply regret it and reflect on myself every day."
Finally, he concluded his post by saying, "I will willingly accept any punishment that may be imposed in the future, as well as criticism and reprimands. I bow my head and apologize for causing social controversy and disappointing many people."

He was first questioned by the police on the 23rd on suspicion of drunk driving. He visited Yongsan Police Station after leaving work at the agency where he works as a public service worker. He returned home after being questioned for about 3 hours.
Meanwhile, Suga is currently working as a social service worker. Suga's discharge date is June 2025.
