BTS' Jin contributed to the increase in viewership.

Jin appeared on MBC-TV's ‘It's Good to Be Well Rested,’ which aired on the 19th. According to Nielsen Korea, the episode received a viewership rating of 6.4 per cent (national households).

It was the No. 1 entertainment show on Monday. It beat out SBS-TV's ‘Dong Sang Dream 2 - You Are My Destiny’ and MBC-TV's ‘Oh Eun Young Report - Marriage Hell. It also had the highest targeted viewership.

It also broke its own record for highest viewership. The previous record was 6.1 per cent (on the 12th). It was 0.3 percentage points higher than the previous episode. Considering that the average is around 5 per cent, it was on the rise.

In this episode, Jin joined the ‘B1A4’ mountains as a worker on a deserted island. He worked alongside Ahn Jung-Hwan and Kim Nam-il. Lee Yeon Bok and Lee Hong Woon played chefs.

‘It's Good to Be Well Rested’ was Jin's first televised show after his discharge from the army. He couldn't hide his excitement. They promised to catch a ‘super tuna’ fish on a boat headed to a deserted island.

But their future was hard. Labour, labour, labour. They worked tirelessly, installing eel traps, making shoeboxes, and trawling in the ocean.

The feast prepared by Lee Yeon-bok captivated the viewers. He cooked chilli, flower room, and steamed fish. Jin went all out. They made mulhoe and kimbap with wild seafood.

Guests were impressed with their food, with one guest saying, ‘I'm about to cry because it's so good,’ after tasting Jin's dish. They did, in fact, shed a tear.

Meanwhile, Jin is releasing a solo album later this year.
