Actors Kim Yoo-jung and Kim Young-dae will present the essence of a melo-thriller.

The Tving original series 'Dear X' (written by Choi Ja-won, directed by Lee Eung-bok and Park So-hyun) has completed its lineup. Kim Yoo-jung, Kim Young-dae, Kim Do-hoon, and Lee Yeol-eum have confirmed their appearances.

'Dear X' is based on a popular webtoon. It tells the cruel yet beautiful story of Baek Ah-jin, a woman who wears a mask to survive, and Yoon Jun-seo, a man who tries to save her.

PD Lee Eung-bok of 'Sweet Home', 'Mr. Sunshine', 'Goblin', and 'Descendants of the Sun' is in charge of directing. Writer Choi Ja-won, who won the grand prize at the 2018 KBS One-Act Drama Script Contest, is in charge of writing.

Kim Yoo-jung plays Baek Ah-jin. She goes through a drastic transformation into a woman who wears a mask to survive. Ah-jin is a top actress in South Korea who hides her cruel nature behind her beautiful face.

She is a character who climbed up to the top by layering up the wounds of her dangerous childhood. Her specialty is to see through and control the hearts of others. However, when she overlooks her own heart and reaches the top, everything begins to fall apart.

Kim Yoo-jung said, "As I read the original work and the script, I felt that this work was more appealing as I got to know the characters living in the work. I will prepare hard and greet you with a good work."

Kim Young-dae plays Yoon Jun-seo. Jun-seo is a character who has been by Ah-jin's side her whole life. He would go through any trouble for Baek Ah-jin. He destroys everything for love.

Kim Young-dae said, "I am truly happy to join the drama. I will do my best with a sense of responsibility," and "I will prepare to show you good acting."

Kim Do-hoon plays Baek Ah-jin's blind trainer, Kim Jae-oh. Jae-oh stays by Baek Ah-jin's side in a different way than Yoon Jun-seo. He endured the abuse of his father who was addicted to a cult and survived harshly.

He found a reason to live in A-jin who had the same pain as him. He willingly becomes Baek Ah-jin's shadow. Kim Do-hoon said, "The webtoon and the drama script are interesting, so I'm very excited."

He continued, "Thank you for trusting me and casting me in this great work. I will do my best to create an interesting drama with good synergy with the production team and actors."

Lee Yeol-eum plays Lena. Lena is an idol-turned-actress who rose to stardom with her outstanding visuals and luck. Even when controversy over her acting skills lingers like a label, she is optimistic and never gets discouraged.

Baek Ah-jin and Yoon Jun-seo appear in front of Lena, shaking her mentality. She realizes that the more she loves Jun-seo, the more she reaches out to places she can't reach. She falls into an endless unrequited love.

Lee Yeol-eum said, "I will work hard to show you better acting and a more mature side of myself through this work," and asked for "a lot of love and interest."

'Dear X' will be released on Tving next year.
