PPULBATU, the first official character of the group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, has been unveiled.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Hueningkai) released a video announcing the birth of PPULBATU on 1 August via the team's official channel.

The video tells the story of the five characters crash-landing at Ttukseom Hangang Park after leaving Magic Island to meet Moa (MOA's fandom name). The video pays homage to the group's music video for "Frost" (released in 2021), in which the members travelled to Ttukseom Hangang Park through a portal to another time and space, and playfully incorporates the team's narrative.

PPULBATU is a combination of 'PPUL' and 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER'. The horns, which have been an important symbol in the team's narrative since their debut song "CROWN", were used to add a special touch.PPULBATU also translates to "PLUS X TOGETHER". It represents the joy and happiness that comes with being together.

On the Instagram account launched for PPULBATU, a video was posted introducing the characters in a live broadcast concept. The five characters - Choi Yong Meng (Soo Bin), Hwang Choon (Yeon Jun), Bam Ceut(Beom gyu), Dagonang (Tae Hyun), and Hhm nya Ring (Hue Ning Kai) - have different personalities, both in appearance and personality.

Choi Yong Meng means "brave puppy" and is a gaming enthusiast. Huang Chun is a fox who enjoys rapping and has a cute face. Bamchul, who makes others happy with his happy virus, Dagonang, a chocosora bread lover with defined abs, and Humnyaring, who covers her eyes with her bangs and expresses her emotions with the emoji on her hoodie, all have a unique charm.

The characters are meant to be "best friends who can be with Moa anytime, anywhere. The five characters were created from sketches drawn by the members themselves, and the team's input was heavily reflected in their names, personalities, and tastes. TOMORROW X TOGETHER will be launching a variety of projects utilising the characters, starting with the launch of Hornbatu.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will hold the TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR "ACT : PROMISE" IN JAPAN at BANTEREIN DOME Nagoya on 4-5 August and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on 14-15 September. This will be TOMORROW X TOGETHER's first dome tour in Japan and the shortest dome tour of any Korean artist since their debut.
