KATSEYE, the global girl group from Hive and Geffen Records, is set to appear on ABC's flagship morning programme in the US. It's an unconventional move for a rookie who has only been in the industry for about a month.

According to 31Hive and Geffen Records, KATSEYE (Daniela, Lara, Manon, Megan, Sophia, and Yoonchae) will be appearing on ABC's GOOD MORNING AMERICA (GMA) on the 5th of next month to perform a live performance of their recently released second single "Touch".

The six members are determined to impress viewers with their delicate and charming vocals and dynamic military choreography on GMA. As this is the first time KatsEye will be performing on a U.S. terrestrial broadcast, it is expected to be of great interest to global fans.

"Touch" is an upbeat pop song that showcases the dreamy and unique voices of the six members. It features a soft charm that contrasts with the intensity of KatsEye's first single "Debut".

"Touch"'s addictive melody and distinctive point choreography have become popular on the shortform platform. On the day of the song's release, more than 800 videos were posted on TikTok that mimicked the song's point choreography, and the video behind KatsEye's performance had over 4 million views as of this morning.

In addition, Hive Labels artists Zico, ENHYPEN, and BOYNEXTDOOR have also shared shortform content with KatsEye dancing the point choreography of "Touch" with KatsEye to global fans. It is expected that the boom of Cats Eye on social media will spread further through the stage of famous American TV shows.

KatsEye was formed on the audition programme "The Debut: Dream Academy," which aired from September to November last year, overcoming a 6,000-to-1 competition rate. On the 21st of next month, a Netflix documentary series, "Pop Star Academy: KATSEYE," will air on Netflix, which will show the story behind the creation of KatsEye.
