Jennie of BLACKPINK has resumed her social media activity after a controversial photo of her blowing e-cigarette smoke in front of a staff member.
On the 30th, Jennie posted two photos via her Instagram Stories (a feature that allows posts to disappear after 24 hours).
One shows a mystery woman holding a cake and smiling. Jennie congratulated the woman, writing, "Happy birthday my dear sister, you deserve to be happy today." The woman is known to be BLACKPINK's stylist.
Earlier, Jennie exhaled cigarette smoke in front of a staff member who was doing her make-up, causing her to be accused of 'indoor smoking' and 'abnormal behaviour'.
In response, Jennie's agency, OA Entertainment, said, "We sincerely apologise to everyone who felt uncomfortable with Jennie's behaviour in the content released on the 2nd of this month." "Jennie is also reflecting on the fact that she smoked indoors and caused damage to other staff members," the agency said, adding, "She also contacted the staff members who were present at the time and apologised to them directly."
