'Love Next Door' is a turbulent neighborhood romance between a woman who tries to reboot her flawed life and her living dark history, 'Mom's Friend's Son'. The story of Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu, who are both dark history records, reuniting at a crossroads in their lives, presents laughter and excitement. Expectations are high for the reunion of director Yoo Je-won and writer Shin Ha-eun of 'Gaetmaeul Chachacha', which will continue the lineage of tvN's well-made healing romantic comedy.

In this drama, Jung Hae-in plays the role of Choi Seung-hyo, a perfect son with everything from appearance to personality and ability. As the head of an architectural firm and a young architect in the spotlight, his peaceful daily life is interrupted by a dangerous bug caused by Bae Seok-ryu’s comeback. Jung So-min plays Bae Seok-ryu, a broken daughter who dreams of rebooting her life. One day, she suddenly decides to turn off her flawed life and start a new one while working as a product manager at a global conglomerate.

The teaser video released that day foreshadows the exciting reversal of fortunes between Choi Seung-hyo and Bae Seok-ryu. The two have been together since childhood and school as ‘childhood friends.’ One day, when Bae Seok-ryu gets angry at Choi Seung-hyo for suddenly surpassing him in height, he calmly responds, “Do you still think I’m a shorter kid than you? I’m already thirty-four,” and before he knew it, he had shed his boyishness and was now exuding a manly aura.

Amidst these subtle changes, the moment when Choi Seung-hyo embraces Bae Seok-ryu, who almost falls, makes the heart rate soar. However, Choi Seung-hyo's rough voice, "Don't be selfish towards me.
