BLACKPINK returns as a complete group.
YG Entertainment general producer Yang Hyun-seok announced the resumption of BLACKPINK team activities through the official blog on the 22nd. They are preparing for a comeback next year.
He predicted, "Next year, many singers will be active at the same time," and "there will be a BLACKPINK comeback that most people are waiting for."
BLACKPINK renewed its contract with YG last year only for team activities. Jenny, Jisoo, and Lisa established a one-person agency. Rosé transferred to The Black Label.
Their last complete album was their 2nd full-length album 'BORN PINK', released in September 2022. The specific schedule for the comeback will be revealed later.
A world tour will also be held next year. Producer Yang announced the news of a new concert, saying, "(2025) is the year when BLACKPINK's world tour begins."
Following the second world tour 'BORN PINK', which ended last year, the group will meet fans from all over the world. 'BORN PINK' was held a total of 66 times in 34 cities for about a year.
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will hold a private fan signing event to commemorate the 8th anniversary of its debut on the 8th of next month.
