Girl group Kep1er has ended its nine-member lineup. Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo left the team for the last time on the 15th.

The agency officially ended the nine-member system at midnight on the 16th. “Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo have done their best to brighten every moment over the past two years and six months,” he said, expressing his gratitude.
From now on, Kep1er will continue its activities as a 7-member group. Yujin Choi, Xiaoting, Chaehyun Kim, Dayeon Kim, Hikaru, Hueningbahier, and Youngeun Seo are active under Kepler's name.
The agency added, "Kep1er will continue to grow further to repay the love of fans," adding, "Please support Kepler's activities as he continues to advance as a seven-member group."
Kep1er is a girl group formed through Mnet's 'Girls Planet 999: Girls' Battle' in 2021. In January 2022, they debuted with their first mini album ‘First Impact’.
Kep1er's contract period was 2 years and 6 months. The seven members agreed to renew their contracts to extend their activities, and final negotiations for Mashiro and Kang Ye-seo broke down.
