Singer HyunA is set to marry Yong Jun-hyung.
HyunA's agency, At Area, released an official statement on the 8th. "HyunA, who has been a great comfort to each other during difficult times, has promised to marry Yong Jun-hyung, bearing the fruit of their love," it announced.
The wedding will take place this fall at Samcheonggak in Seongbuk-gu. A representative said, "The ceremony will be held in October with close acquaintances," adding that "(the couple) will start a new life together."
The statement concluded with, "We are grateful to everyone who always supports with warm eyes," and "We ask for many blessings for HyunA, who has made a significant decision as both an artist and a person."
Yong Jun-hyung's agency also shared their stance later. "With deep affection and trust for each other, they decided to hold a wedding ceremony. We would be grateful if you could send your congratulations to them as they start a new chapter in their lives as a married couple," they said.
HyunA and Yong Jun-hyung began publicly dating in January. HyunA first posted a couple photo on SNS, asking fans to "see them beautifully." Yong Jun-hyung also uploaded the same photo, revealing their relationship.
The two have known each other since their time as members of 4Minute and BEAST, respectively. They were both active under Cube Entertainment, and in 2010, Yong Jun-hyung featured in HyunA's solo song "Change."
Meanwhile, HyunA released "Attitude" on May 2nd. She signed an exclusive contract with At Area and made a comeback after about two years. Yong Jun-hyung released the EP "Beautiful Dystopia" in March and has been on tour since then.
