The Paris Olympic flame was lit in Greece and arrived in France last month. It passes through the mainland and over 400 major cities. After completing a journey of approximately 12,000 km, it will arrive at the opening ceremony site on the 27th.

It is known that there will be approximately 11,000 torchbearers for this year's Olympic torch relay. A variety of occupations are included, including Jin and Didier Drogba (football), Tony Parke (basketball), Nazi concentration camp survivors, Nice terror attack survivors, astronauts, and sanitation workers.
