DAY6 held a mini concert for children with incurable diseases in Korea.
Since 2019, JYP has been carrying out the project 'EDM' (Every Dream Matters!), which provides emotional support to children with incurable diseases.
This time, DAY6 came out. They met Lee Geon-woo (7 years old), who was fighting acute lymphoblastic leukemia. Geonwoo is a fan of DAY6. Due to low immunity, I was unable to go to a solo concert last April.
DAY6 held a special mini concert for Gunwoo and sang his favorite songs. For Geonwoo, who is very interested in musical instruments, the members played the instruments they actually use and also told him any questions he had.
In particular, Wonpil gave Geon-woo his own musical instrument so that he could practice the keyboard consistently. An album and T-shirt with an autograph were also delivered.
Lee Geon-woo said, "The time I spent with my brothers was as good as the universe. I am grateful for giving me the piano (keyboard) I wanted as a gift. I will practice hard and become a cool person like my brothers."
Gunwoo's mother said, "I think today will be remembered as the 'Best Part', like the name of DAY6's song," and added, "Thank you for leaving a tremendous page in my child's life."
DAY6 cheered, “I hope Geon-woo grows up cheerful and innocent,” and “Let’s get healthy and meet again at our concert. I hope he practices a lot on the keyboard and achieves his dream of becoming a great musician.”
Meanwhile, DAY6 held its third official fan meeting 'I Need My Day' at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 21st to the 23rd and met with fans.
