NewJeans is enjoying a long run on global music charts. The new song ‘How Sweet’ ranked high on the US Billboard Global Song Chart for three consecutive weeks
The US Billboard announced the latest chart (as of the 22nd) on the 19th. NewJeans ranked 21st in the 'Global' (excluding the US) and 28th in the 'Global 200' with the title song of the same name as the double single 'How Sweet'.
It has been ranked high for three weeks. 'How Sweet' previously entered 7th and 15th places on each chart (as of the 8th), respectively. The song ‘Bubble Gum’ ranked 44th and 77th, respectively, on the same chart.
It also boasted its power on domestic music charts. ‘How Sweet’ maintained second place for three consecutive weeks on the Melon, Genie, and Bugs weekly charts (counting period 10 to 16 days). ‘Bubble Gum’ also ranked 3rd on Melon.
NewJeans is scheduled to debut in Japan on the 21st. They release their debut single ‘Supernatural’ and begin their full-fledged activities. The music video for the b-side song 'Right Now' was pre-released on the 17th.
They will also appear on local representative music broadcast programs. Starting with the morning broadcasts of Fuji TV’s ‘Mezamashi TV’ and ‘Mezamashi 8’ on the 21st, he will appear on TV Asahi’s ‘Music Station’ on the same day.
