BTS Jin Will Soon Be Discharged From Military
by. Meenyoung

As of May 30, BTS member Jin's discharge from the military is approximately two weeks away. Jin, who has been fulfilling his mandatory military service, is set to be discharged on June 12.

Jin was the first among BTS members to enlist, joining the military on January 13, 2022. He has demonstrated exemplary conduct during his service, earning the title of "Special Warrior" for his outstanding performance in various areas such as physical fitness, mental resilience, and chemical warfare training. Additionally, he received an early promotion four months ahead of schedule.

Throughout his service, Jin's commendable actions have not gone unnoticed. He was well-liked and respected by his fellow soldiers and trainees, with numerous positive stories about his behavior. Stories include him never losing his temper as a drill instructor, buying snacks for trainees, carrying the gear of injured soldiers during marches, and distributing cosmetics to the families of trainees. These acts of kindness have earned him widespread admiration from the public.

As Jin approaches his discharge, fans and the public alike are eagerly anticipating his return and future endeavors.

Meanwhile, HYBE, the company to which BTS belongs, is facing significant internal turmoil. The company has been embroiled in controversy due to conflicts with its subsidiary label ADOR. This has led to a sharp drop in its stock price.

It has been reported that Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR, attempted to gain independence from HYBE, prompting an internal audit. Min Hee-jin's team claimed that the audit was an unfair response to their allegations that Belift Lab's new idol group, ILLIT, plagiarized NewJeans, a group under ADOR. However, HYBE stated that the management takeover attempts by Min Hee-jin were unrelated to ILLIT and began earlier this year. HYBE also disclosed that Min Hee-jin allegedly managed the company under the guidance of a female shaman, consulting her on critical business decisions, including personnel matters.

The messages revealed that Min Hee-jin suggested sending BTS to the military, stating, "It might be better for me if they go to the military" and "Having them gone might benefit me." These revelations have further fueled the controversy.

Min Hee-jin is currently awaiting the outcome of an injunction she filed against HYBE to prevent them from exercising voting rights at the shareholder meeting. The decision is expected to be announced soon, possibly on the 30th.

HYBE has scheduled an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on May 31 to discuss the proposal to dismiss Min Hee-jin from her position.
