NCT's Mark shares his thoughts on the release of his new single "200."

On the 16th, Mark will be releasing his single "200" and the music video for the title track. SM Entertainment shared Mark's message for fans.

Mark said, "The title track '200' is a song that can be enjoyed happily with NCTzen in the summer, and '200' (Minhyung's Ver.) can be enjoyed more emotionally if you listen to it at night."

He continued, "The music video was shot like a movie. It's impactful," he said, adding, "There were some difficult parts of the shoot, but it was really fun. I hope NCTzen will enjoy it as well."

The title track "200" is a drum & bass song with a rock sound. It features early 2000s-style electronic guitar sounds, lyrical melodies, fast BPM drums, and fast-paced rapping.

Mark wrote, composed, and arranged the song. The lyrics are a pure expression of the story of an unexpected love that eventually becomes a fateful meeting. The message is about relationships where each person makes the other shine.

The music video wittily depicts Mark's imagination and experiments. The animation depicts surreal situations, while the vintage cinematography captures the rocking vibe of the drum & bass genre.

Mark will release the single "200" at 6pm tonight. He also included an acoustic version of "200" (Minhyung's Ver.). Mark incorporated a calm voice and emotion different from the original song.

With this single, Mark begins the long journey. He will release the new album in February 2025. As he solidifies his position as a solo artist, he will visit his fans in various ways.
