J-Hope of BTS received attention from major foreign media. His new album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' and documentary series received favorable reviews.

The American entertainment media 'Entertainment Tonight' (hereinafter 'ET') focused on J-Hope's documentary (HOPE ON THE STREET) on the 28th of last month (Korean time).

ET emphasized, "J-Hope is showing off a different level of dance and powerful musical ability," and "He has captivated fans around the world by radiating overwhelming charisma."

'Consequence of Sound' also introduced the new album on the 30th. It was pointed out that J-Hope reinterpreted the collaboration song with J.Cole into a solo version and that another member of BTS, Jungkook, participated.

They added, "BTS' main dancer J-Hope released his first solo mixtape 'Hope World' in 2018."

'Grammy.com' released a special article on the 30th. "Long before his global superstardom, J-Hope first discovered his own love for dance while dancing on a playground," they revealed.

They also revealed part of his work in the underground dance crew 'Neuron'. "He included a song titled 'Neuron' on his new album. He expressed his respect for the crew he was a part of in the past," he explained.

They continued to talk about his mixtape 'Hope World', which revealed the dancer J-Hope, and his first solo album 'Jack In The Box', which focused on his musical abilities.

They praised the documentary, saying, "'HOPE ON THE STREET' portrays the wonderful overall image of J-Hope, who is both a musician and a dancer. He has reached the pinnacle of both art forms (music and dance)."

Lastly, they concluded, "'HOPE ON THE STREET' is a love letter to everything that made J-Hope what he is today, and a proof that he will never forget any of it."

J-Hope released his new album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1' on the 29th of last month. Previously, on the 28th, the first episode of the documentary series was released through a global online video service.

He is also planning to hold a pop-up 'HOPE ON THE STREET' in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul until the 5th.
