ENHYPEN will be singing BTS's hit song.
"ENHYPEN will release a remake version of 'I NEED U' through the 'Spotify Singles' program," BELIFT LAB said on the 16th.
"Spotify Singles" is the exclusive program of Spotify, the world's largest music platform. It supports artists to record cover songs or new songs.
The remake album was planned to celebrate the 10th anniversary of 'K-Pop ON!'. The theme is "My K-Pop First Love." ENHYPEN is the first runner.
"I NEED U" is an electronic hip hop genre. BTS's title track of the third mini-album, "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Pt.1," released in 2015, was much loved.
ENHYPEN reinterpreted the song with their own style. They added acoustic instruments instead of electronic synth sounds from the original song. It is a 'sweeter' version of the song.
Regarding the selection of the song, they said, "It's a song that all the members love. It's meaningful that we can tell the story of our first love in K-pop."
"I heard that it was the first time that producer Bang Si-hyuk approved the rearrangement of a BTS song. We're honored that he participated in the arrangement too," he added.
Meanwhile, ENHYPEN will hold a world tour encore "Fate Plus in Seoul" at KSPO Dome in Songpa-gu, Seoul from the 23rd to the 25th.
