Jungkook, Vernon, So-yeon Qualified as Regular Members of KMCA

BTS Jungkook has become a regular member of the Korea Music Copyright Association (KMCA). Vernon of SEVENTEEN and Soyeon of (G)I-DLE have also received qualifications.  

The Korea Music Copyright Association posted its official promotion list on its official website for 2024. 30 associate members have been promoted as regular members. 

First of all, Jungkook became the fourth member of the team to gain his qualifications as a regular member. He wrote and composed "Seven," "Still With You," and "Dreamers." 

Vernon and So-yeon were also selected as candidates for promotion. Vernon participated in making songs such as "Monster" and "Super." So-yeon created Tomboy" and "Nxde." 

In addition, K-pop singer-songwriter Ahn Ji-young of BOL4, Ahn Ye-eun and Code Kunst were also included in the list.

Lyricists and composers who have worked with many idol groups have also become full members of the Korean Music Association. Lyricist Lee Seuran and  composers including 250, VERSACHOI, and TOIL have become full members.  

Meanwhile, the Korea Music Association is an organization that manages the copyrights of lyricists and composers in Korea. As of last month, 51,000 people are registered as members.
