This is the first time that a Hanbok photo shoot has appeared on the cover of ELLE since its launch in 1992. As part of the 2023 Hanbok Wave project, Suzy, who took the cover in 6 different Hanboks from innovative designers in collaboration with the Korea Craft & Design Foundation, shared, "After wearing the Hanbok that various designers made for me, I felt closer to Hanbok. I hope it will help showcase Hanbok to the world."
She also spoke of the driving force that enabled her to work across fields such as music and acting. "I have been spurred on by the passion that arises when I concentrate. Isn't consistent doing something possible when you pour your passion and heart into it? Being evaluated hurt me in the past, but now I realize that how I accept it is more important."
Suzy regularly edits her own YouTube Vlog videos. "As it's just a Vlog, I thought I could film and edit it much myself. This also gives fans a more personal and intimate feeling."
As for her New Year's plan, she shared, "I've been thinking about taking care of my body and health a little more."
Suzy, who received a lot of love for the Netflix series 'Doona!' will take on the role of Ga-young in a new series written by Kim Eun-sook. Regarding the upcoming series, she said, "I will prepare by resting well before shooting starts. I want to have fun and enjoy the work."
Meanwhile, this promotion will include showcasing the Hanboks through billboard advertisements in Times Square on December 24.
