Hyein appeared visibly embarrassed after reading a comment, calling the message "mean".

Minji took a screenshot of a hateful comment aimed at Hyein. Hyein warned, "Just wait there."

On December 5, ADOR released a notice via the group's 'Phoning' app. In it, ADOR announced that the label is consistently taking legal measures against any acts of defamation, insult, and spreading false information.

The label added, "Due to malicious comments, the live commenting feature will be limited exclusively to subscribed users."

ADOR also promised, "We will continue to diligently monitor and make improvements to ensure that both NewJeans and our fans can enjoy a pleasant experience while using Phoning."

CEO Min Hee-jin also shared a fan art of the group on Instagram the same day, in which five bunnies representing the members are shielded by an armoured the group's official lightstick Binky Bong from arrows.
