On December 4, Jin posted a long message on Weverse to express his gratitude to ARMY (BTS' fans) around the world for celebrating his birthday.

He wrote, "I always enjoy live performances with ARMY on my birthday, and I'm sorry that I can't enjoy it this year. It breaks my heart."

Jin showed extraordinary love for his fans. He asked, "Please know that although I cannot be with you, I am having a good time with you in my heart."

He looked forward to meeting his fans again. "There is still a lot of time left, but my heart is already pounding at the thought that I can be with you if I spend just one-third more."

He also mentioned the remaining members' enlistment plans. V and RM will enter the training center in Nonsan on December 11. Jimin and Jung Kook will both enter the recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division, where Jin is serving as an assistant instructor, on December 12.

"I heard that our members are enlisting. I cannot talk about it with tearless eyes. My hope is that the time will pass quickly so that I can have a good time with the members and ARMY," wrote Jin.

Finally, he surprised his fans with the news of another early promotion. "I received another early promotion due to my outstanding military career and am currently Sergeant Kim Seok-jin."

Meanwhile, Jin enlisted in December last year. During his military service as an assistant instructor at the recruit training center of the 5th Infantry Division, he received early promotion as a special elite soldier.
