On December 3, Fantagio surprised fans by announcing the closure of Moonbin's memorial.

The memorial space called 'Moon Space,' previously located at Namhansanseong Fortress, was recently relocated to Seonunsa Temple in Gochang, Jeollabukdo.

The sudden move, however, raised concerns among fans, who speculated that Fantagio had entered into a business deal with the temple and made the singer's life treated like an exhibition.

"Fantagio has not entered into any kind of agreement or contract with Seonunsa and has no financial interest," the label emphasized.

According to the label, the reason for relocating the Moon Space to Seonunsa Temple was due to safety concerns for visitors in the winter and for enshrining a permanent memorial tablet for Moonbin. The label decided to relocate to Gukcheongsa, a branch templea branch temple belonging to Seonunsa Temple.

Fantagio explained, "There may be Aroha (Moonbin's fans) who suddenly needs a place to stay due to unexpected circumstances, so the monks of Seonunsa decided to provide space and meals for free. There was no commercial intention."
