The UK music magazine 'NME' also provided a review, noting, "NCT has been a leading force in infusing experimental elements into K-pop over the past seven years. Their new album surprised everyone." 

They further evaluated the album as "a stroke of luck for NCT," signifying the achievement of their musical goals and the arrival of a golden era.

Billboard highlighted NCT's chart power, stating, "NCT U's 'Baggy Jeans' topped the Hot Trending Songs chart. In total, five songs, including the title track, entered the top 10."
