He revealed that his first choice for this challenge was the drama 'Time Between Dog and Wolf.' Without using stunt doubles, Lee Jun Ki performed stunts himself and showed determination even through injuries. He added, "At the very least, as an actor, I wanted to receive proper evaluations."

In addition, Lee Jun Ki surprised everyone by revealing that he has not consumed carbohydrates, including rice and flour, for 7 years as part of his action acting preparation. He explained, "It's my personal know-how developed through a lot of action acting. As I did it myself, I realized I had many injuries and inflammations. I heard that flour triggers inflammation in the body, so I started cutting it out. It was tough for the first year or two, but as I continued, I found it very beneficial. It made my body feel lighter." Lee Jun Ki currently follows a diet where he avoids rice and flour and consumes tofu instead.
