HYBE Global Project is launching in full swing. It unveils trainees who have surpassed a competition rate of 1 in 6000 for the first time. 

HYBE and Geffen Records will hold a press conference called 'The Debut: Dream Academy' on the 29th (Korean time) at IGA Studio in Santa Monica, LA.

'The Debut: Dream Academy' is the first global project incorporating HYBE's K-pop production system. Its aim is to create a girl group that will target the American market. 

20 trainees will be revealed, who have gone through intense auditions over the past 2 years. Among 120,000 participants worldwide, they were selected as the top 20 finalists.

Starting with this press conference, they will embark on a 12-week audition journey. Viewers will witness the entire process as the trainees overcome differences and strive towards their dreams. 

Key executives will also be in attendance. Chairman Bang Si-hyuk, President John Janick, CEO Mitra Darab, and Chief Creator Son Sung-deuk will share the purpose, future goals, and progress of this project. 

There is particular interest in Chairman Bang Si-hyuk's speech. He has spent a long time living in the United States for the success of 'The Debut: Dream Academy', personally leading the project on-site. 

He also emphasized the need for the globalization of the K-pop production system. Through a YouTube video, he stated, "For K-pop to truly become the mainstream of the world, it must be pop itself without the K."

HYBE stated, "'The Debut: Dream Academy' utilized our artist production methods, know-how, and the American network," adding that it will present a unique experience to music fans.
