Singer and actor Choi Min Ki (REN) is making a return with a historical drama. 

The production company announced the casting lineup for the movie 'Confession of Shadows' on the 24th. It was revealed that Choi Min Ki, along with Park Sang Nam, Hong Seung Hee, and Ham Eun Jung, have been confirmed to star in the film.

'Confession of Shadows' is a youth drama set in the Joseon dynasty. It tells the story of young individuals who defy the taboos of their time to express their true feelings. The story revolves around their love and friendship.

Choi Min Ki takes on the role of Yunho, the eldest son of byeonjopanseo. He has been sickly since childhood and is a source of concern for those around him. However, he faces crises with a strong spirit. 

This is his second venture into the world of film. Choi Min Ki made his debut in the Japanese movie 'Their Distance' in 2016 and is currently also appearing in ENA's 'Longing For You.'

Park Sang Nam has been cast as Jaewoon, a friend of Yunho. Hong Seung Hee portrays Seol, the fallen daughter of a noble family. Ham Eun Jung plays Choehee, who becomes an intimate advisor to them.

Director Lee Dae Kyung is taking the helm. He is known for his delicate directorial skills in works like KBS-2TV's 'Youth of May,' 'Do You Know Ashtanga?,' and 'Prism.'

'Confession of Shadows' will premiere on WAVE in November, with the official release date to be announced later.
