BTS Suga's album 'D-Day' was selected by The Source's "Unveiling Hype K-pop Creative Genius: Highlights from 2023," proving his musical genius and the popularity once again.

For reference, 'The Source' is a magazine of Hip Hop Music, Culture and Politics established in 1998.

Suga's album 'D-Day' is a solo album released by his another name "Agust D" after about 3 years since the mixtape 'D-2' was released. The album consists of a total of 10 songs including the pre-release song 'People Pt. 2 (feat. IU)' and the title song 'Haegeum'.

The Source praised the album, saying, "Not only was the song over-the-top but the music video was what made the fans crazy. The movie-like music video definitely showed that Agust D is not just an idol but an artist himself."

Opening a K-POP section for the first time since the publication of The Source, this event directly shows the influence of K-POP and Suga on the global hip-hop market.

According to Luminate, a data research company, 'D-Day' by Suga (Agust D) ranked 5th in top CD album sales during the first half of 2023.
