AKMU Confirm Their Comeback After 2 years... YG, "Goal is within summer"

Sibling duo AKMU (Akdong Musician/ Lee Chan-hyuk, Lee Su-hyun) is making a comeback after 2 years.

AKMU's agency, YG Entertainment, officially stated to Newsen on July 25th, "AKMU is currently working on the latter half of the album with the goal of a summer comeback. We will announce more details once they are confirmed."

This will be AKMU's first new song in 2 years. The duo previously released their collaboration album 'NEXT EPISODE' in July 2021, and the title track 'NAKKA' topped various music charts.

Lee Chan-hyuk and Lee Su-hyun gained fame as Akdong Musician after winning the SBS audition program 'K-pop Star Season 2' in 2013.

Since then, they joined YG Entertainment and released multiple self-composed albums, including their official debut album and first full-length album 'PLAY,' the first mini-album 'Puberty Vol.1,' the second full-length album 'Puberty Vol.2,' and the third full-length album 'Sailing,' all of which achieved top positions on music charts. They have continuously showcased diverse music styles, earning explosive love from music fans both domestically and internationally.

As solo artists, they have also expanded their musical spectrum with individual albums. Lee Su-hyun released her first solo single 'ALIEN' in 2020, while Lee Chan-hyuk released his first full-length album 'ERROR' in October last year.
