Actress Park Shin-hye has stepped up to help flood victims. The actress donated relief goods worth 100 million KRW (78,000 USD).

On July 25, The Korean Red Cross (Chairman Shin Hee-young) said "Park Shin-hye donated 2,000 summer blankets to residents affected by flooding."

It will be delivered to the victims through the branches of the Red Cross located in Sejong, Chungbuk, Chungnam, and Gyeongbuk, where the damage is severe.

"I feel the pain of the neighbors who have lost their livelihood due to unexpected heavy rain," said Park Shin-hye.

The actress added, "I hope the victims would be able to return to their daily lives as soon as possible without further damage."

Park Shin-hye has consistently done good deeds. She helped others in national disaster situations, including the east coast forest fire and the heavy rain that caused damage last year.

The Korean Red Cross stated, "Thank you to Park Shin-hye for sharing. We will assist in flood recovery with the government and local governments."
