On June 27th, JTBC weekend drama 'King the Land' (written by Choi Rom and directed by Lim Hyun-Wook) released heartwarming behind-the-scene cuts of the cast.
The new drama is reportedly adding excitement and laughter to weekend nights with its dynamic plot and bittersweet romance.
In one of the episodes, actor Jin Sun-Kyu appears as a police officer who shares his tearful dating experience with a heartbroken Gu-Won (played by Lee Jun-Ho). His short but impactful role was reportedly offered based on his friendship with Lim Yoona, who plays the role of Cheon Sa-Rang. The two had previously worked together to shoot 'Confidential Assignment 2: International', and although Lim Yoona did not have a scene to shoot on the day, as a gesture of appreciation to Jin Sun-Kyu, she attended and gave thanks in person.
A picture of Lim Yoona and Lee Jun-Ho sitting side-by-side against the backdrop of the clear sea in Jeju-do, also brings a smile to faces. This scene marks a significant turning point in their relationship as Jeju-do is the place where Gu- Won and Cheon Sa-Rang first feel their hearts flutter.
As of yet, four episodes have been released and the dynamic between Gu-Won and Cheon Sa-Rang has started to change. Both actors have perfectly embodied their characters and will showcase a cute and romantic chemistry in the remaining episodes of 'King the Land.'
Stay in tune for 'King the Land' episode 5 which will air on July 1st at 22:30 (KST).
