BTS' Suga has successfully wrapped up his world tour, ending with performances in his home town of Seoul, Korea.
On June 24th and 25th, over the course of two days, Suga held his last stage of 'SUGA | Agust D-DAY TOUR' world tour in Jamsil Gymnasium Hall. Over 15,000 fans were in attendance to support the finale of the star's world tour, which included touring a total of 10 cities with 25 performances.
Suga kicked off the Seoul concert with his title tracks from his solo album 'D-DAY', including 'Haegeum', 'Daechwita' and 'Agust D.' After his hot performance of 'Give it to me', Suga addressed the audience by saying, "It is finally the last day of my first solo tour, 'D-DAY.' I have prepared a lot for today's performance. I hope you all enjoy it to the fullest."
Suga captivated the audience with an acoustic version of 'Trivia: Seesaw', which was accompanied by a guitar. The star continued to heat up the atmosphere with a medley of his hit songs,
'SDL', 'People', 'People Pt. 2 (feat. IU)', 'Moonlight', 'Burn It', 'Interlude: Shadow', 'BTS Cypher Pt. 3: Killer', 'BTS Cypher 4', 'UGH!', 'Ddaeng' and 'Huh?!'
Suga boasted his musical talent by performing solo whilst playing the piano, presenting band versions of his solo tracks as well as dynamic live performances.
On his last day of his world tour, Suga expressed his gratitude to fans by saying, "Thank you for your energy. I released the album at the end of April and started the world tour over the course of two months. It has been a happy and memorable journey. When I return to the stage, I promise it will be as a group of seven." He then announced the surprise news of an encore concert, 'SUGA | Agust D TOUR 'D-DAY' THE FINAL', which will be held at the KSPO DOME (formerly Olympic Gymnastics Arena) in Songpa-gu, Seoul, from August 4th to 6th. Suga closed the Seoul concert with 'Intro: Never Mind' and 'The Last.'
The Seoul concert was particularly meaningful to fans as it featured stage productions focused on thestory of Suga as a member of BTS and Agust D as a soloist. Settings that portrayed the star before and after his debut, as well as various turning points in his career were particularly insightful for the fans. The presentation of the songs allowed the audience to see the evolution of Suga as a musician, with a strong emphasis on the history of the Agust D trilogy. In particular, on the first day of the Seoul concert (June 24th), Psy made a surprise guest appearance and performed 'That That (prod. & feat. SUGA of BTS)' with Suga, creating an explosive stage performance. On the last day (June 25th), fellow members of BTS Jimin, V and Jungkook appeared as guests.
