The upcoming movie 'Concrete Utopia' (directed by Um Tae-Hwa) will be hitting the screens on August 9th.
'Concrete Utopia' is constructed on the popular webtoon 'Disaster Trilogy' by Kim Sung-Nyung. It portrays the aftermath of a natural earthquake that leads to a limited number of survivors living in the only remaining apartment, Hwanggung Apartments, in Seoul. Amongst the residents of Hwanggung Apartments that have survived the catastrophic earthquake, the film portrays the story of people making different choices for survival.
With its overwhelming cast list, creative setting and props and vivid graphics that enhances full immersion, 'Concrete Utopia' promises a new cinematic experience for viewers. The cast list includes Lee Byung-Hun, Park Seo-Joon and Park Bo-Young, as well as Kim Sun-Young, Park Ji-Hu and Kim Do-Yoon, to complete the intense tension and drama of the plot.
'Concrete Utopia' is a new project from production company 'Hellbound' and 'D.P.', which has already successfully been recognized for solid craftsmanship in cinema.
