Im Do-hwa, a former member of girl group AOA, confessed her extreme diet when she was an idol.
On tvN's ‘Free Doctor’ which aired on June 19, Im Do-hwa, a former member of AOA, appeared with her mother.
Regarding the name change from Chan-mi to Do-hwa, Im Do-hwa said, "I named it myself because I wanted to live a more responsible name in the process of finishing my team activities and working alone".
"When I was young, my mom and dad divorced and my mom kept raising me. She explained, "Since I was born and raised under influence, I thought it was right to follow my mother's family name, so I received my mother's family name".
Im Do-hwa's mother said, "I was a little worried because I thought she might have changed her last name and name because she wanted to forget the painful memories of her father. However, when I talked to her, I heard that it was built to make a fresh start. Rather, I would like to support changing the name," she said.
On the other hand, the mother said, "I feel sorry that she has grown up too early. I don't cook during the holidays. I haven't done it at all since I found out that my daughter had to lose weight after eating it. I feel sorry for her", she confessed.
Do-hwa said, "I starved a lot (when I was in AOA). I cut the apple into four pieces a day and ate only one piece. Or I kept drinking two eggs and sparkling water.
