On June 13th, singer and actress Kim Sejeong clarified dating rumours about her and Ahn Hyo-Seop. During the Weverse live broadcast, Kim Sejeong said, “There have been rumours circulating that I went on a trip to Japan with Hyo-Seop obba." She continued, "Why would I go on a trip with Hyo-Seop obba? I went to Japan with my best friend, and my older brother.”
Recently, Korean outlet ‘Korea Boo’ reported, "Dating rumours between actors Ahn Hyo-Seop and Kim Sejeong are spreading on social media platforms.” The basis for the rumours began after both stars uploaded pictures taken in Japan separately, leading to the speculation that the pair had traveled together.
Then, Ahn Hyo-Seop deleted the uploaded photo, which became the point of alarm. The photo featured a hand that appeared to be a girl’s hand, with some netizens commenting to say that the hand resembled Kim Sejeong’s hand.
The two actors previously appeared as a couple on the SBS TV show ‘Business Proposal’ last year and also teamed to work as co-MCs for the ‘SBS 2022 Drama Awards.’
In the meantime, Ahn Hyo-Seop is currently shooting for SBS drama ‘Dr. Romantic 3’. On the other hand, Kim Sejeong will be making a comeback on screens in the tvN drama ‘The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch’, which is scheduled to premiere next month.
