On June 9th at 13:00 (KST), BTS will unveil their new track ‘Take Two’ on various music platforms worldwide. The new release celebrates their 10th debut anniversary, featuring all seven members.
'Take Two' signifies the second path that BTS will take in their careers. The track conveys messages of gratitude to fans for their unconditional love and support, as well as promises for the future.
Suga took the lead in production, with RM and J-Hope writing lyrics. The track harmonises the members’ vocals with delicate acoustic sounds and rap lines in between.
Before the official drop, a photo collage of various sceneries was shared. The images represent places that are meaningful to each of the members, with a warm and analogue touch.
RM chose the Dia Beacon Museum, Jin selected the LA coast, Suga is depicted at a concert venue, J-Hope is shown at the Brooklyn Bridge in New York, Jimin's image is from a filming set, V is on a yacht in Mexico and lastly, Jungkook chose the sunset in Qatar.
Key words from the lyrics of 'Take Two' can also be found in the photo collage. Words such as light,face, begin, young. Soul, stay and together can be found amidst the collage.
In the meantime, on June 17th, BTS will hold a large-scale event to celebrate their anniversary, titled '2023 BTS Festa' in Yeouido, Seoul.
