On June 5th, the production team of the Genie TV original series ‘Lies Hidden in My Garden’ (directed by Jung Ji-Hyun and script by Ji A-Ni) unveiled teaser posters. The posters showcase actress Kim Tae-Hee in one and Lim Ji-Yeon in the other.
‘Lies Hidden in My Garden’ is a suspense thriller. It evolves around two women who have led completely different lives but meet and experience unexpected events due to a suspicious incident in the garden.
Kim Tae-Hee takes on the role of ‘Joo-Ran’ who grew up in a wealthy family and is an ordinary housewife married to a doctor. Her house has a garden and one day, she notices a strange smell in her garden which disrupts her picture-perfect life.
Lim Ji-Yeon portrays the character of ‘Sang-Eun’ who is a victim of domestic violence, yearning to escape from a bleak reality. Meeting ‘Joo-Ran’ becomes a turning point in her life.
The teaser posters capture close-ups of the two individuals. Particularly, the focus on their gaze raises curiosity about the full story that will unveil.
Kim Tae-Hee's poster displays the caption, “I thought it was a perfect and happy home.”
On the other hand, Lim Ji-Yeon’s caption reads, "I wanted to escape from a poor and unhappy home.”
