On June 4th, 'Big Hit Music' revealed to Dispatch, "Jungkook's solo activities schedule has not been comfirmed yet. We will announce it once it is confirmed."
The upcoming solo release will mark Jungkook’s solo debut, making him the sixth member after J-Hope, Jin, RM, Jimin and Suga to embark on a solo career.
After the star was captured with producer Andrew Watt, fans have speculated that Jungkook has been working on projects in the US earlier this year in April. Andrew Watt has previously collaborated with top musicians including Sam Smith and Miley Cyrus. He has been selected multiple times as the ‘Producer of the Year’ at the Grammy Awards.
Jungkook has also been captured with another famous producer, Cirkut. Jungkook was captured next to Cirkut in an enclosed space suspected to be a recording studio.
The social media post by Scooter Braun (CEO of HYBE America) is also significant. Braun expressed his anticipation, saying, "It is always exciting to be a witness to history."
Ever since his debut with BTS, Jungkook has demonstrated his musical talents with contributions to albums such as 'The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Part 2' and 'Love Yourself: Tear.'
He has also released several self-composed songs including ‘Still with You’ and ‘My Time’ on global music platform SoundCloud.
Additionally, Jungkook has made his name big on global charts last year with his single ‘Left and Right’ with Charlie Puth, reaching 22nd place on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ chart.
For the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, Jungkook performed the official soundtrack ‘Dreamers’ live on stage, again proving his global stardom.
