Blackpink's Jisoo tested positive for Covid-19 will be skipping Osaka World Tour

On June 1st, YG Entertainment announced that Blackpink’s Jisoo had tested positive for Covid-19 and will therefore be unable to attend the scheduled Osaka World Tour concert in Japan which was planned for June 3rd to 4th

YG Entertainment stated on the fan community platform Weverse, "Jisoo had mild cold symptoms on May 30th and tested negative on that day. However, on June 1st, she tested positive.”

The statement further continued, "She expressed her strong determination to fulfill her promise to fans in Osaka and wanted to perform at the Osaka World Tour, however, in consideration of the artist’s health and for everybody’s safety, she will unfortunately not be joining the team.”

As a result, only the remaining three members of Blackpink (Jennie, Lisa,and Rosé), will be performing at the Osaka concert.

YG Entertainment added, "We are aware that the fans have been eagerly waiting for the world tour concert and we will do our best to execute the performances as planned. We kindly ask for your support and encouragement.”
