Cha Eun-Woo is set to make a comeback on screens as he confirmed his role in the new drama 'Wonderful World' (directed by Lee Seung-Young and script by Kim Ji-Eun).
On June 1st, the production company announced, "Cha Eun-Woo has confirmed his male lead role for character Kwon Sun-Yul in 'Wonderful World.' He is expected to portray a powerful transformation in acting alongside big stars such as Kim Nam-Joo."
‘Wonderful World’ is a revenge drama that revolves around Eun Soo-Hyun (played by Kim Nam-Joo), who loses her young son unjustly and takes matters into her own hands, in order to seek justice.
Cha Eun-Woo will play the role of Kwon Sun-Yul, who is a medical school dropout, living a rough life. He meets Eun Soo-Hyun immersed in grief, at one of the lowest times of his life and together, they heal each other’s wounds and try to find justice.
The upcoming drama is a comeback for actress Kim Nam-Joo in six years, as her last role was in JTBC’s ‘Misty.’
Fans are already excited to hear the news of a ‘box office queen’ (Kim Nam-Joo) and ‘Cha star’ (Cha Eun-Woo.
The director, Lee Seung-Young, received acclamation for the ‘Tracer’ TV series and ‘Voice 2’ TV series. The script, written by Kim Ji-Eun, is well-known for success hits including ‘Lie After Lie’ and ‘Cheongdam-dong Scandal.’
