Korean Ariel's 'NewJeans’ Danielle?... 'The Little Mermaid' dubbing casting revealed

Earlier, Disney Korea unveiled the dubbing casting for ‘The Little Mermaid’. Jung Young-joo as Ulsula and Jung Sang-hoon as Sebastian. However, the artist who plays Ariel has not been revealed, raising questions.

The silhouette photo released on the same day led to speculation from netizens. Many netizens expected 'NewJeans' Danielle. That the silhouette is very similar to Danielle's photo of NewJeans concept photo.

The preview of the Korean dubbing released on Disney+ was also a hint. The dubbing voice and the song also resembled Danielle.

However, some people showed disappointing responses. The opinion was that it would have been better for a professional voice actor to play Ariel as it was an expected work. 

Meanwhile, 'The Little Mermaid' is scheduled to meet with the audience in May.
