On April 27th, Warner Music Korea released an official statement saying, "We have signed an exclusive contract with all members of Brave Girls and will prioritize full group activities." The statement continued to read, "We will spare no support for their activities and we are also currently discussing various options for a new team name."
Brave Girls made their debut in 2011 and have continued their activities with various albums including ‘Back to da Future’, ‘Re-Issue’, ‘High Heels’, ‘Rollin’ and ‘Summer Queen.’
Amongst their releases, their song ‘Rollin’ which was released in 2017 became a retro hit in 2021, topping all domestic charts. Since then, the girl group released ‘Chi Mat Ba Ram’, ‘After We Ride’ and ‘Thank You.’
In February earlier this year, Brave Girls announced that they had ended their exclusive contract with Brave Entertainment and released a track titled ‘Goodbye.’
Warner Music Korea said, “we have reached a new agreement for full group activities after a brief break, which will be great news for global fans.”
Warner Music Korea is a comprehensive music entertainment company that aims to export K-pop globally and foster global artists. Previously, the company has played a role in bridging collaborations between K-pop artists and overseas artists such as Mamamoo’s Hwasa and Dua Lipa, Chung Ha and Christopher as well as (G)I-DLE’s Minnie and Anne-Marie.
