Girl group Billlie which includes Moon Sua, will temporarily be suspending all activities in mourning of the late Astro’s member Moonbin. Moon Sua is the younger sister of Moonbin, and the two were commonly known as the K-pop ‘Moon siblings.’
On April 20th, a representative from Mystic Story agency said to Dispatch, “Billlie has decided to cancel or postpone their scheduled events this week in respect to the passing of Moonbin.”
The siblings appeared on MBC-TV’s reality show ‘DNA Mate’ earlier this year in January. Moonbin expressed his sincerity to his sister Moon Sua during the show by saying, “Sua, I always wish for your happiness.” Moon Sua also showed an affection for her older brother by saying, “Moonbin is my role model. I am forever grateful for his wise words when I advise in him.”
This late clip has touched the hearts of many around the world.
Moon Sua has currently suspended all scheduled activities and is guarding the funeral in sorrow. She will watch her brother’s final journey with family and close friends in privacy.
Billlie’s agency apologized and asked for an understanding, “we will provide further guidance with regards to postponed dates of the schedule, including fan signing events and broadcasts. We send out condolensences to Sua and her family and ask for your understanding at this difficult time.”
Fantagio agency announced that the funeral would be held privately. A representative said, “we would like to respectfully say our goodbyes in privacy with only his family, relatives and company colleagues, which is according to the wishes of Moonbin’s family.”
Boy group Astro will also temporarily suspend their activities to attend Moonbin's funeral. The funeral will be held at Seoul Asan Hospital.
